What type of venue is Apollo?
Apollo is an entertainment and events venue in Wolverhampton. We host a range of events, private hire bookings, parties, live entertainment and ticketed events.
Is there parking near Apollo?
Apollo does not have on-site parking. However, there are public car parks and paid parking options in Wolverhampton city centre within walking distance of the venue.
We recommend checking parking availability, prices, restrictions and closing times before travelling, as these may change and may vary depending on the day, time and event.
Which car parks are nearby?
Nearby city centre parking options may include Wolverhampton Station Car Park, Broad Street, Fold Street, Civic Centre, St Peter’s, Wulfrun Centre, Mander Centre and other public or private car parks in the city centre.
Parking is operated by third parties, not Apollo. Please check signage, payment instructions, opening times, ANPR rules and restrictions before leaving your vehicle.
Is parking free?
Parking charges vary depending on the car park, time of day and length of stay.
Apollo does not control parking prices or parking rules. Please check the relevant car park provider before travelling.
Is there disabled parking nearby?
Some city centre car parks may offer Blue Badge or accessible parking spaces, but availability is not guaranteed.

Can I travel by train?
Yes. Wolverhampton Railway Station is the nearest main train station to Apollo.
The venue is located in Wolverhampton city centre and is usually reachable from the station by walking, taxi, bus or tram, depending on your access needs and the route taken.
How far is Apollo from Wolverhampton Railway Station?
Apollo is around a 10 to 15 minute walk from Wolverhampton Railway Station, depending on your walking speed and chosen route.
Please allow extra time during busy periods, bad weather or large events.
Can I travel by tram or bus?
Yes. Wolverhampton city centre is served by bus and West Midlands Metro tram services.
Please check live public transport times before travelling, especially for evening events, Sundays, bank holidays or late finishes.

Is Apollo responsible for parking or travel issues?
No. Apollo is not responsible for parking availability, parking charges, parking fines, vehicle damage, vehicle theft, public transport delays, road closures, taxi availability or travel disruption.
Customers are responsible for planning their own travel and arriving on time.
How do I book tickets?
Tickets can be booked through our website where available. Select the event you want to attend, choose your ticket type and complete the checkout process.
How do I know my booking is confirmed?
Your booking is confirmed once you receive confirmation by email or through the website checkout process.
If you do not receive confirmation, please contact us before attending the event.
Do I need to bring my ticket with me?
Yes. Please bring your booking confirmation, ticket or QR code with you. This may be shown on your phone unless the event states otherwise.
Can I buy tickets on the door?
Tickets may be available on the door for some events, but this is not guaranteed. We recommend booking in advance where possible.
Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Ticket transfers may be allowed for some events, but this depends on the event terms and availability. Please contact us before transferring a ticket.
Can I resell my ticket?
Tickets must not be resold for commercial gain without Apollo’s written permission.
What payment methods do you accept?

Does Apollo store my card details?
No. Apollo does not directly store your full card details. Online payments are processed securely by the relevant payment provider.
Are tickets refundable?
Unless stated otherwise for a specific event, tickets for dated events, entertainment, leisure activities, performances or bookings are non-refundable once purchased.
What happens if I can no longer attend?
Please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the event, we may be able to offer a ticket transfer, credit, name change or other option, but this is not guaranteed.
What happens if Apollo cancels an event?
If Apollo cancels an event, we will normally offer a refund, replacement date, transfer or credit.
What happens if an event is postponed?
If an event is postponed or rescheduled, your ticket will usually remain valid for the new date. We will try to contact affected customers using the details provided at booking.
How long do refunds take?
Approved refunds are usually processed back to the original payment method. Refund times can vary depending on Stripe, the payment provider, your bank or card issuer.
Do I need ID to enter?
Some events may require valid photographic ID. If an event has an age restriction, you may be asked to prove your age before entry.
What ID do you accept?
Accepted ID may include a passport or driving licence.
Can I be refused entry?
Yes. Apollo reserves the right to refuse entry where necessary for safety, licensing, security or operational reasons.
You may be refused entry if you are intoxicated, abusive, aggressive, unable to provide valid ID, carrying prohibited items, breaching venue rules or posing a risk to staff, guests or performers.
Will I get a refund if I am refused entry?
If you are refused entry because of your behaviour, failure to provide ID, breach of venue rules or breach of event terms, you will not be entitled to a refund.
Can I leave and come back in?
Re-entry depends on the event and venue rules on the day. Please ask staff or security before leaving the venue.
Can I bring my own food or drink?
No. Unless Apollo confirms otherwise, guests are not allowed to bring outside food, drink or alcohol into the venue.
What items are not allowed?
Prohibited items may include alcohol, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, glass containers, professional recording equipment or anything considered unsafe, unsuitable or disruptive.
What behaviour is not tolerated?
Apollo does not tolerate violence, threats, harassment, discrimination, abusive language, damage to property, illegal drug use, theft, unsafe behaviour or behaviour that disrupts the event or venue.
Can I be removed from the venue?
Yes. You may be asked to leave if your behaviour is unacceptable, unsafe, unlawful or in breach of venue rules or event terms.
Can Apollo ban someone from future events?
Yes. Apollo may ban customers from future events or bookings where there has been serious or repeated misconduct.
Do you have a cloakroom?
A cloakroom or storage area may be available at certain events depending on the event setup. Items are charged at £2 per item.
Are items left in the cloakroom insured?
No. All items are left at the customer’s own risk. Apollo accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage to items left in the cloakroom, storage areas or anywhere else on the premises, except where caused by our negligence or where liability cannot be excluded by law.
Should I leave valuables in the cloakroom?
No. Valuable items, including phones, wallets, jewellery, cash, bank cards and keys, should not be left unattended or placed in the cloakroom.
What happens to lost property?
Items left behind will be kept for up to one month from the date they are found.
After one month, unclaimed items may be disposed of, donated or thrown away without further notice.
How do I ask about lost property?

Do some events include bingo or prize games?
Yes. Some events at Apollo may include bingo, prize games, competitions or gambling-related entertainment.
Who runs bingo or prize game elements?
Where a third-party organiser, promoter or licensed operator is responsible for bingo, prize games, stakes, prizes, rules or gambling-related activity, that organiser, promoter or operator is responsible for running that part of the event lawfully.
Apollo may act only as the venue for certain events.
Do I need to be 18 or over to take part?
Bingo, prize games, competitions or gambling-related activities may be restricted to customers aged 18 or over.
Valid photographic ID may be required.
Are prizes guaranteed?
Prizes are subject to availability and to the rules of the relevant event. Unless stated otherwise, prizes cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred, sold or substituted.
Can I be stopped from taking part?
Yes. Apollo, event staff, security, the organiser or licensed operator may refuse participation where there is suspected cheating, fraud, misuse, abusive behaviour, breach of event rules, breach of venue rules or breach of licensing requirements.
Can I hire Apollo for a private event?
Yes. Apollo may be available for private hire, parties, corporate events, celebrations and other bookings.

Is a deposit required for venue hire?
A deposit may be required for certain bookings. Deposit terms, payment deadlines and cancellation terms will be confirmed before booking.
Can I bring my own suppliers?
External suppliers may be allowed only with Apollo’s prior approval. This may include DJs, decorators, caterers, entertainers or production suppliers.
Can I decorate the venue?
Decorations may be allowed with prior approval. Decorations must not damage the venue, create a safety risk or breach fire, licensing or venue rules.
